So I'm gonna preface this with saying that IMO isn't as good as Bad Rep simply because I loved Jordan and Maysie equally and hello...Jordan is darn near perfect even if he cheated on Olivia. In Perfect Regret I loved Garrett and tolerated Riley. In Seductive Chaos I liked Viv and Cole equally, just didn't LOOOVE them. I think it's because of the 2 year thing though...Maybe? I just think it is gonna be impossible for me to adore any of the couples like J&M. I'm biased.

So Cole and Viv have been doing the semi-friends with benefits for 2 years now and just as he's coming to terms with maybe wanting more outside the bedroom, she is tired of his bs and him making her look like the idiot she isn't. I gotta say Cole pissed me off plenty (listening to the loser band manager, buying into his own hype, not seeing Viv for the amazing woman she would become sooner) for at least half this book but then he turned around and not only pulled his head out of his rear but began to use his brain to see the big picture with the band as well as the girl. He then decided to take some action. Yay!

While Cole is getting it together, Viv is trying to make sense of the draw she has to him. It makes her feel stupid which I can't blame her. She hasn't been with anyone since their SFWB started (not happy about that actually). So she finally gets a great job and things go on from there...

Loved how the band's drama was incorporated into this. Loved how we got to see Jordan and Mays as well as Garrett and a tiny bit of Riley. Looking forward to the Gracie & MItch's story next.

The last thing I will say is this series isn't meant to be life altering or give the reader a book hangover. It's meant to be fun and light which I think it accomplishes. I don't always want a big ugly cry (Reclaiming the Sand or FYITD) or a heavy read so I appreciate that someone I've read and know I can trust to write a complete story is offering me, the reader, both. I will absolutely read anything she puts out. And no, I don't know her. Her work speaks for itself.

I don't want anyone but you," he admonished, his teeth scraping along the side of my neck, making me shiver, despite the warmth of the shower." I mean the boy thinks highly of himself, "Cole growled in my ear. "Don't play that game with me, baby girl. Size has never been a problem. I've got more than enough package to keep you happy." I was so proud of Vivian when she decided to no longer put up with Cole's BS, "I am sick of your bulls***, Cole. You better walk the line tonight or you'll be sorry. Do I make myself clear? I didn't come all this way to be humiliated by you. If you want me here, then act like it," I hissed." Seriously Cole is like my two year old nephew he never knows when to stop with all the crap, "I was mid-wank when a pillow bounced off the side of my head, ruining my flow. "I'm in danger of losing my eyesight and all you can do is rub one out? Are you kidding me?" A drunk Vivian is a very informative Vivian to her date, "he's hung like a horse. I'm not even kidding." I informed my date, who seemed less and less amused by my dinner talk." But a drunk Cole is a jealous Cole, "Cole righted himself and took a menacing step toward Theo. "Oh she knows me, man. She knows me intimately. She knows how it feels to have this di** inside her pu**y." He grabbed himself crudely before taking another step forward. "She knows how it feels when I eff her over a table and how it feels to have my tongue between her legs. So yes, she knows me. She's known me in every position, all night long." Also a drunk Cole is a mean Cole, "you gonna help?" Cole leered, using his hand to prop himself against the wall as he pulled out his di** and took aim at the toilet." In the end though I was glad he grew some balls and took care of business, and I'm looking forward to Gracie and Mitch's story that one is gonna be a doozie.
