This book is a page turner...I couldn't put it down. Some of the revelations were shocking to me, particularly about the terrorist William Ayres and his connections to Obama. However, most of the information was familiar to me, being a life-long Illinois resident, and knowing exactly how Chicago politicians work....by corruption and fraud. Some of the factual errors were on minute points, and not relevant to the overall theme, which is that citizens need to really consider the background of Obama before casting their vote for him. He is not what he wants you to think he is.
I finished this book as the public was reacting strongly against the media treatment of Sarah Palin as John McCain's pick for Vice President. Why didn't the media scrutinize Barack Obama over the past year, instead of clapping and cheering him on? Why didn't they send hordes of reporters to the places where he lived, the schools he attended and investigate his friends and mentors? This is why Jerome Corsi's book is so important -- and it is worthwhile mentioning that he stated that he did not write the book to support McCain. He depicts a candidate with an arrogant and deeply flawed psyche, suspicious associations to and tutelage under known Marxists and anti-American figures, but one that has so far been skillfully handled by his leftist image master, David Axelrod. All of this has been ignored in the cult of personality that our nation has been a spectacle of in the past year. Instead of the intense scrutiny that Palin has been subjected to, we are offered nothing more than "he's the One!" If you have no confidence in the media's portrayal of Obama, if you don't want to be manipulated by image makers, if you care about what kind of leadership our nation is going to have, read this book and find out for yourself whether you should vote for him.
Not written so that the book flows. I found it very difficult to stay in tune with the book.
Knowing Obama was in a racist church and lied about their teachings and his supporters turn a deaf ear and blind eye to it shows me where the negative reviews are coming from. I have listened to Jerome R. Corsi and consider him credible. I would take his research over over a bunch of unknowns bashing his book with one star ratings. He has many articles on the webs most credible news source [...], the fact WorldNetDaily supports him should speak volumes over what others may say.
People need to read their history to understand what their future will be like before the end of his term. Ignorance is not a reason
of not knowing what is going on in this country.
I like that this book compared information with Obama's official autobiography and noted differences. The man had quite a childhood. I didn't like the fact that his aim as president was to disrupt the United States and wanted our country to be like all the others so we could relate to their problems. It was an interesting read, however and gave me lots to think about.
